Durante más de 10 años, Natalie Maddix, fundadora y directora creativa de House Gospel Choir, ha construido y desarrollado con diligencia y fidelidad una hermosa comunidad de cantantes. La magia de HGC es su oído para la producción, gracias a los compositores, productores, arreglistas vocales y selectores que conforman el colectivo. La alegría está en buscar cuidadosamente en las cajas y seleccionar pistas house que funcionen junto con otras: retocar, contrastar sonidos y llevar los clásicos, bueno, a la iglesia.
HGC irrumpió en escena con Salvation debut que fue coronado BBC Radio 1 como 'Hottest Record' por Annie Mac, alcanzando el puesto #1 en el Music Week Cool Cuts Chart y el #5 en la lista Billboard Dance Club. Con el lanzamiento de su aclamado LP RE//CHOIRED nació del amor por la cultura del sound system y el poder curativo de la música house. El álbum cuenta con algunos de los productores más importantes de la música dance, con las leyendas del house Todd Terry y DJ Spen, Wookie, Toddla T, Alex Metric y Nicky. Marrón. Sus últimos lanzamientos incluyen colaboraciones con una mezcla ecléctica de talentos que incluye a Ella Henderson, Rudimental, Duane Harden y Purple Disco Machine. HGC vienen en formato Dj set.
DJ2D2
DJ2D2 is a clear example of how to stand out on the national and international scene thanks to his deep knowledge of urban trends, an always-exquisite taste and an unerring technical and professional application in the DJ booth. We can say he’s an “all genres” type of DJ. His CV is impressive, with sets at the most prestigious festivals and clubs in Spain, including several Sónar appearances. It is difficult to find a dj as prestigious and popular, widely respected by the press and public alike, always being voted as one of the best DJs in the country, without a record production to his name.
Since 2010 he’s pioneering in the art of playing video sets with the classical DJ tools: two turntables and one mixer. He mixes video clips of different genres making a visual and audio collage.
In addition to his numerous sets in clubs and festivals around, David Pérez (DJ2D2’s real name) has an extensive experience selecting the soundtrack in all kinds of events. Some brands and companies that worked with him are: Adidas, Nike SB, Levi’s, Sony, J&B, Time Out, Brugal, Supra, TV3, BBDO, Hotel Barceló-Sants and many more…
