Tras tres álbumes plagados de rock y post-punk., Tristesse Contemporaine abren un nuevo ciclo con su nuevo disco United. ¿Y quién mejor que el joven prodigio Lewis OfMan, el hombre tras éxitos como Attitude y colaboraciones de renombre como Rejjie Snow o Carly Rae Jepsen, para unirse a este alegre viaje? Tras escuchar la primera demo de Sly Fox en 2019, lo convencieron para producir un álbum completo de la banda y se convirtió en el cuarto miembro, agregando su sensibilidad pop y mezclando géneros y emociones con líneas de bajo funky, fuertes ganchos y arreglos digitales.

United es un álbum de espíritu libre lleno de irresistibles melodías impulsadas por el ritmo gracias a la atronadora voz de Mike, los brillantes sintetizadores de Narumi y la reluciente guitarra de Leo, que conquista nuevos territorios desde el reggae hasta el breakbeat de los 90 o la música disco de Nueva York. DJ2D2 is a clear example of how to stand out on the national and international scene thanks to his deep knowledge of urban trends, an always-exquisite taste and an unerring technical and professional application in the DJ booth. We can say he’s an “all genres” type of DJ. His CV is impressive, with sets at the most prestigious festivals and clubs in Spain, including several Sónar appearances. It is difficult to find a dj as prestigious and popular, widely respected by the press and public alike, always being voted as one of the best DJs in the country, without a record production to his name.

 Since 2010 he’s pioneering in the art of playing video sets with the classical DJ tools: two turntables and one mixer. He mixes video clips of different genres making a visual and audio collage.

 In addition to his numerous sets in clubs and festivals around, David Pérez (DJ2D2’s real name) has an extensive experience selecting the soundtrack in all kinds of events.
